The Local Elections in Burnley this year saw a record number of Green Party wins.
Andy Fewings secured the first Green Party Lancashire County Council Seat in Burnley, beating the Tories in Burnley Central West by 251 votes and unseating Labour.
In the Burnley Borough Council Elections, Scott Cunliffe was elected as Councilor for Cliviger with Worsthorne, Andy Wight was elected in Brunshaw and Martyn Hurt unseated Labour in Trinity to secure the Green Party’s first full Green ward in the Borough.
The Green Party now have 5 Borough Councillors and one County Councillor in Burnley.
